Default Strange energy glitch after dying in RoT

I noticed this 3 or 4 times now. Occasionally, when you die in the Realm of Torment, and get rezzed at a shrine, the game will not read your current energy reserves correctly.

What I mean is this: After resurecting at a shrine, my blue energy bar displays ~40-45 energy. But if I attempt to cast a 25e spell (Bone Fiends) the interface will chirp and report that I have "insufficient energy", despite what my bar and the spell itself indicate.

This is NOT in an area with the "Veiled Nightmare" effect.

The effect never goes away until you swap weapons. I just swap to another set and swap back and my energy bar READS the same, but now I can cast the spells as intended.

It doesn't happen that often, maybe one out of four times at a res shrine. I've never seen it happen from a player res spell/signet.

Can anyone else confirm this glitch?

I'm sure he was. He doesn't sound stupid. And if the problem went away after changing weapons it also suggests this, unless the spirit died.

I don't think it's confined to the realm of torment. Whenever I run ether prodigy, the game tends to report my energy a bit low. For instance, my bar will show 20 energy, but I will be incapable of casting heal party until I have 25 energy (without QZ up). I think it has to do with a lag in the game engine when you gain large amounts of energy in a short period of time.

I'm unsure if changing weapons actually fixes the glitch, or if it just wastes a little bit of time so the game can catch up with what happened.

I've seen something similar happen with my Dervish just playing the game, even in prophecies (so I can assure you that there isn't an environment effect). Sometimes when getting hit with some e-denial I have too many enchants wear off (or get stripped) and need to cast one, have enough energy, and get the "not enough energy". It is similar enough that they may be related.

Personally, it seems to happen in the same situations I get some rubber banding (large groups of mobs and I'm moving around fairly fast) so I chalked it more up to that than anything. It usually goes away in a few seconds (sometimes it doesn't and I die, next time I may try and swap weapons and see if that fixes it), but it can be frustrating to see 15e and not be able to cast 5 or 10 energy enchants. I don't see it as often in other characters mainly because none of them are spamming spells quite that much.

I reported a similar bug a few nights ago. One of my heroes health didn't fully regenerate.
This was in Fahranur, on a reindeer quest.
